1. Introduction
The purpose of this website is to enable a visitor to obtain information about services and products available for building and renovating property. The following terms and conditions relating to the use of the site are intended to reflect this on a common sense basis. All visitors to this site agree to be bound by these conditions and by any subsequent variation or amendment to them.

Inclusion in DesignYourHouse.co.uk does not imply either endorsement or recommendation by the editors. DesignYourHouse.co.uk does not vouch for the quality, safety or reliability of the products and services listed and does not accept and liability in this regard.
In particular any subsequent contact that a visitor makes with an advertiser upon this site , and any subsequent trading or other activity or interaction following from this, is the sole choice and responsibility of the visitor. Subject to the above, visitors to this site must refrain from any infringement of advertisers’ copyright or of any related intellectual property rights and from any misuse of whatsoever nature of material submitted to those sites by advertisers and other contributors. In the event that DesignYourHouse.co.uk suffers any loss and damage consequent upon a failure by a visitor to observe these provisions, it will seek to recover such loss and damage in full.

3. Change to Site Contents
DesignYourHouse.co.uk reserve the right at all times to make any change to the contents of this site and to these terms and conditions.

4. Submission of Material to this Site
No material may be submitted via this site or to any of its advertisers on the sites or registered users which is in any way in breach of any legislation or the legal rights of any third party, knowingly inaccurate, threatening or offensive, or calculated or likely to interfere with the proper functioning of those sites. Any breach of this provision will render the party in breach liable to indemnify DesignYourHouse.co.uk  against any damages, claims, costs or other liabilities that it may suffer or incur as a result (whether directly or indirectly) of such breach.

5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising hereunder shall fall exclusively within the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

6. Confidentiality

While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, DesignYourHouse.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any cracking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all submitted items is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.

DesignYourHouse.co.uk uses sessions to store information. These do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve your viewing and submit pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password.

 

Terms and Conditions for Advertisers

Refund Policy
An individual or company purchasing a subscription to the DesignYourHouse.co.uk website enters into a contract with DesignYourHouse.co.uk. An account will be created and the contract is for a minimum period of 12 months. Payment is in the form of an annual subscription fee paid in advance.
If you have created an account and you have paid the annual subscription, but have changed your mind and no longer wish to receive the service then you must apply in writing to info@designyourhouse.co.uk quoting your  Account ID, within 24 hours of entering into the contract to be entitled to a full refund less an administration charge of £25*.
If, after 24 hours of creating your account, you would like to terminate your contract you must first apply in writing to info@designyourhouse.co.uk quoting your Account ID and stating the reasons for the termination of your contract. On receipt of your email our support staff will review your request and contact you, if necessary, to discuss the termination of your account. Once we are satisfied the reasons for termination are deemed appropriate and/or within the terms and conditions then you or your company will be entitled to a refund for each full month of the services remaining, less a standard administration charge of £25*.
If we terminate your contract for any reason in accordance with the terms and conditions of our contract with you then we will not return any part of the current annual fee.
We will not approve accounts we deem inappropriate. If we decline to offer you an account for any reason then you shall receive a refund of all fees in full.

* The administration charge has been established to cover the costs or charges incurred in liaising with the payment provider to refund any money and in removing the listing from the 'live' directory.
